How did your football journey start, and what inspired you to pursue it seriously?

My football journey started at a very young age. I grew up playing football for fun, but over time I realized it was more than just a hobby it was something I truly loved. Seeing how far football could take me, both on and off the field, inspired me to take it seriously and work hard to turn my passion into a career. Even tho my mom wanted me to do tracks.

How would you describe yourself as a footballer in just three words?

Determined, humble, shy and very much introverted.

Who has influenced your football journey the most, and how?

My mother has influenced my journey the most. My mom constant support, encouragement, and belief in me especially during difficult moments kept me motivated and focused. She remind me why I started and push me to keep going.

Do you have any routine before the game?

I don’t really have one specific routine it depends on the day and how I’m feeling. Sometimes I listen to music to get locked in, scroll through old photos that motivate me, talk to my mom before the game, or even play games to stay relaxed. I just make sure I’m mentally ready.

You’ve won MVP awards the last years in the USA? What is your dream for the future?

My dream is to become a professional soccer player, win even more awards, and leave a lasting impact on the game. I want to inspire others, especially young girls, to believe in themselves and chase their dreams just like I am.

What simple things in life make you happiest, beyond football?

Spending time with family, listening to music, laughing with friends, and having moments of peace where I can relax and reset.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced as a female footballer representing Jamaica?

One of the biggest challenges was school I have so many set backs because of school. Despite that, I’ve learned to stay focused, remain resilient, and represent my country with pride no matter the obstacles.

What advice would you give to young girls in Jamaica who dream of playing football at the highest level?

Believe in yourself be humble and never let anyone tell you that you can’t. Stay disciplined, work hard every day, and trust the process. Your background doesn’t limit your potential.

If you could take a break from football and travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I would love to visit Europe especially places with strong football culture so I could experience different lifestyles, learn from other cultures, and enjoy a change of scenery.

If you could inspire the world with one message, what would it be?

No matter where you come from, your dreams are valid. Stay humble, stay hungry, and never stop believing in yourself never listen to the hateful comments it’s going to come but never stop believe in yourself only you know what you’re capable of.
